October Paws to Read
(Pause each day to read!)
October 1st, the breeze is here,
Crisp autumn whispers fill the ear.
Leaves dance down in red and gold,
Nature’s stories yet untold.
Pumpkins rest on garden ground,
Rustling paws make happy sound.
Dogs in sweaters, tails held high,
Chasing acorns tumbling by.
Books are stacked by cozy chair,
Stories float like autumn air.
Each page a forest, bright and wide,
Where eco-wonders come alive.
We read of rivers, skies, and seas,
Of buzzing bees and ancient trees.
With every tale, a seed is sown,
To guard the earth we call our own.
Paws to read, and hearts to care,
We share the world, we all must share.
From furry friends to feathered flight,
We’ll keep our planet safe and bright.
October paints with pumpkin hue,
And every story feels brand new.
A book, a paw, a mindful way,
To honor God’s earth this autumn day.
So gather close, the season’s near,
With laughter, love, and tails of cheer.
For every chapter, leaf, and seed,
Begins with kindness as we read.
October 1st, let’s start with play,
A paw, a page, a brighter way.
Together building, hand in paw,
A greener world for all we saw.
