“Writing Hope into the Future: The Art of Eco-Fiction” , by Diane Kann
I’ll explore how science, faith, and creativity come together to build worlds that remind us what’s worth protecting.
Drawing from my interconnected series—The Aquatica Chronicles, The Earthbond Saga, Ashes of Eden, The Tidekeepers, and The Celestial Grove—I’ll share how real ecological ideas can shape meaningful characters, conflicts, and futures rooted in renewal rather than despair.
This presentation will blend visual storytelling, short readings, and an open discussion on how writers and readers alike can use story to imagine better worlds. I’ll use a few nature images and book visuals to keep things flowing, and I’ll encourage reflection and Q&A throughout. My goal is for everyone to leave feeling uplifted, inspired, and ready to see hope as its own quiet kind of rebellion.
